The Dockboy is a modern tracked vehicle primarily for working on ship hull bottoms or similar surfaces.

In combination with direct vacuuming it ensures eco friendly, rust removal and old coating removal with waste and waste water collection. An Aquablast® surface blaster with a working width of 14.8 inch is attached to the end of the jib.

Features

Chassis:

Jib:

  • The telescopic jib is mounted on a turntable and can be slewed through + 23° to - 28°
  • The work functions are to a great extent automated a nd adjustable so that ship hull curvatures, decks and superstructure surfaces can be blasted
  • Programmable indexing distance and slewing range (arc width: 14.2 ft)

Working arm:

  • An Aquablast ® surface blaster with a working width of 14.8 inch (optional 23.6 inch) is attached to the end of the jib.
  • The rotating spray bar is hydraulically driven

Hydraulic system:

  • The hydraulic system uses biodegradable oil

Vacuum and waste water filter/ recovery module:

  • In combination with direct vacuuming it ensures eco friendly, rust removal and old coating removal with waste and waste water collection
  • Filter/disposal module for waste and waste water with 70μ up to 200μ filter mesh size
